Hi all,

i am taking an American Government class at college and we just got an assignment to produce a portfolio on a political issue. i figured what better topic than the issue of long hair in our socirty.

here are the guidelines:

history if the issue

5 key facts related to the topic and political issue

2 brief summaries of 2 points of view

analysis of the personal, social and political concerns at stake and the significance of the issue in historical and/ or contemporary terms

a statement of a possible resolution or conclusion with respect to public policy for the issue

if anyone knows of any good sources;on the internt, books, magazines etc... i would appriciate your help. im very excited about this project. i can finally do something on a topic issue that i can share with all of you and that i am very intersted in.

Wow, interesting topic! I'm not sure where to start researching though. I bet you'd find some magazine articles about men's long hair as a protest in the 60's?
