Has anyone tried these things? I saw the front page of the website, but the model has shortish hair.
http://www.flexi8.com/flex/index.html Will now go explore the website of the Flexi 8. ;D/ BEM |

I don't have a Flexi-8 but I know they have been popular on other long-hair sites. They are a simple but effective type of barrette that is less prone to damaging hair. I keep thinking about getting one for myself - I gues I should stop procrastinating. ;D

They are currently running a sale of buy-4-get-1-free or 10% off.
Let me know if you are interested to give you the code for it. |

I have never used this brand but i have used hair toys that look excatly like this (from the picture on there main page) and I have found they never hold all of my thich hair. I actually had one made of copper with a smooth wooden rod and half way through the day the rod snapped while in my hair. but they are a lovely looking hair toy and if you don't "overload" them with hair they do work

The unique aspect of the Flexi-8 is that it is made of a flexible material so there is more "give" when using it. In theory, this allows it to work better for fine and thick hair.

These are slides, not barrettes, and they've been around forever.
These ones are really pretty, however. I might give one a try if I wasn't worried about the beads getting caught in my hair. :o |

At the Flexi 8 website I left a message asking about the beads catching the hair. Does this answer any questions?

I'd call that a "tap dance". ;D However, they do admit that it might catch a hair, so buyer beware!

Aww...those are sooo cute! I really like the one with Tinkerbell! I would buy it but I don't want my hair to get caught in it. A few weeks ago I finally threw away 2 crystal ponytail holders for that very reason. :'(

All I can tell you is that I have two of these. I think they are the best hair things I have ever bought. I am fixing to buy some more as well. I would definatley spend the money on these things in a heartbeat.
