I like your new avatar, LD!

I'm checking in at 21-3/4".  I had a trim last month and now I'm 1/4" longer than before the trim.  Yay!

Thanks Sakina, and Congrats on your hair growth! :D

Thanks Curlgirl!  I'm loving my hair more everyday because I'm now beginning to pay attention to the fullness as well as the length.  Unfortunately, my length goals have to be pushed back a bit so that I can concentrate on keeping it healthy looking which means regular trims until its all even.  This will set me back a bit, but I think in the end it will all be worth it. But, the extra growth doesn't hurt. :)

ok,I'll need so simple a child can do this instructions to post these pics.  Anything I try short of putting negative comments, won't show the pics.  So we are at negative point zero >:( :-/

Ok, got Mum to measure my hair for me today.  She tells me it is 21 inches, with a few strays that measure 21.5.  Ok so the .5 goes at the next trim, since I want it even at the bottom. Okay, so I have 12 inches to goal...so about 2.5 years to go (including trims)!!!

Welp, sorry no pics!  I can not cut and paste, copy them or e-mail them.  I will though delete all the pictures and start from scratch.  I doubt my computer has the capability to cut and paste, even though you can click on it,nothing happens.  So just take my word for it,that my hair is pitch black!

You're welcome and thanks, too!

I'm totally in the same boat!  I wonder if its a curly girl thing-our ends are soooo fragile because of our texture.  I've resigned myself to slooowly getting longer, I don't think I'd be happy with length without the health.  Afterall, we want gorgeous hair that happens to be long, eh?  I have, however, set my next trim for 4 months instead of 3 as an experiment...

CurlyGirl, have you ever tried highlighting what you're trying to copy, and then pressing ctrl and C at the same time? That's the keyboard command for copy, in case one's mouse isn't working or something. Ctrl + P is paste.

You can't even email them as attachments??
yikes!

Thanks,Kiraela, but it's just such a major probelm with Corel!  I really need to simplify to the extreme with it because anything I try to cut, paste, move delete, forward, email doesn't work!  I am so glad I hadn't bought anything from them!

Also, that sweater looks very cozy.

(Blush, blush)  Thank you Kiraela!  I've tweeked and pinched these photos, but just can't get them small enough(thumbprint).  I will play with it some more though!
I tell ya,that's what henna and indigo does to my hair!  I personally like the all natural approach regarding it!  There is cassia henna which just gives you shine if you are interested in checking that out!

On June 2nd, I measure my hair at 40 inches.  I cut it back to 37, making all the ends even.  The years of abuse and lack of knowledge are now gone.  It is sooo thick.  Now onto my knees.

CurlGirl, the craft shows are a lot of fun!  I mostly make garden items, but some other things too, like pin cushions and lavendar sachets.  There's info on my blog about the show:

The birdhouse gourds I make:

Getting ready for the show:

That particular show is on an old homeplace and the theme is civil war and immediate post civil war era.

VictoriaLynn, congratulations of doing well at the fair.  I especially like your bloomers-thanks for sharing.  Now, how about a pic of your hair down?

Lynn, you inspired me to check into crafts shows again!!! Your gourds are really great!!  The pics are wonderful!!  I tweeked a recipe for whipped body butter and it is out of this world,if I do say so myself!!! :-[  It's not greasy, smells light, not over-powering and makes your skin feel like silk!!!!!  Only problem would be is making tons of it and trying to find a show that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for booth space!!!  One in NJ was charging $500 for 3 days!

Victoria Lynn,

OMG I love your hair like that.  It is soooo beautiful.  I cannot imagine having long enough hair to do it (Patience JD) and then the ability to do it.  Also you have a gorgeous neck line to make the do really work.  Good for you.  Thanx for the inpiration to grow my hair, lose weight (although I still wont have your neck line) and learn to do things with my hair.

I make a whipped body butter with coconut oil(very good for your skin) cocoa butter(also good for your skin)distilled water, emulsifying wax and a few other ingredients.  It not only comes out whipped,a little goes along way,it is not greasy, melts right into your skin and leaves it silky smooth.  The tweeking and experimenting with a recipe paid off!! ;D  I already sold 5 of them at my dentist's office along with my vegan lip balm.  Not only do people want more natural things for their hair, they want all natural things for their skin, too!!  So now I sell whipped body butter, vegan lip balm and my next experiment is; lotion. ;)

JD, you made my day!  Thank you so much.

Sakina, I'll take an updated picture today and link to it.   :)

CurlGirl, I have the same problem with craft fairs.  Some I just have to pass on because they are TOO expensive.  Most are okay.

Here's an updated picture of my hair this month.

I'm at 29.5 inches, but that .5 will go with the next trim.  :P But it feels like I'm getting somewhere now, no more major trims will have to be done in a while so I'm happy.  :D
