I finally got my headdress pic scanned-so here it is...

I got it at www.profoundia.com. I protected my hair from the metal with the scarf. This pic is a couple of years old-I was going to some bellydancing thing.

What a beautiful picture! I have to admit when you mentioned putting a scarf under the head dress I liked the idea because it would protect the hair of course but, I also felt that it would look like there was a bit too much going on to do both. This however, looks really good. I'm definitely going to purchase that head dress now. Thanks so much for the suggestion and for sharing your picture. :D

Oh and btw, I like your piercings too. I remember you said that you had a Monroe and I completely had no idea what that was.

Thanks, LD! I hope you'll post some pics of your headdress!! The scarf I used is pretty skinny and rectangular.

Here's a pic of the head piece that I purchased. When I first saw it months ago, they had it in purple too and that was the color that I wanted. Apparently, they've sold out of the purple because I can't find it but I think the red is nice too.

I was looking for scarves on eBay to wear with it and I stumbled upon a stocking cap. So, I purchased it to wear underneath instead. I won't be wearing it anywhere special, I'm just going to wear it as an accessory like earrings or a necklace so hopefully, the cap will dress it down a bit. I'll be able to see how it looks once it arrives. If it looks okay, I'll also post the pics then too.
