Title: Link for some buns Post by bugeyedmonster2 on Jan 18th, 2007 at 1:11pm
Or should I say bun patterns? Bun how-tos? :-?
It's from one of those plain-dressed christian websites. There's also a PDF file with a pattern for a knitted snood. Though to make some of the buns you are supposed to use metal barrettes. And I didn't even look at the "rubber band" bun. Eep! :o Though I wonder if it would work if I used those softy little hosery hair ties from Scunci? Anyway, link... http://www.prayercoverings.com/pages/howtomakeabun.php Have fun! ;D/ BEM |

Thanks for the link, BEM. I think I'm going to give one or two a try-with hairfriendly accessories though!

Please do! I don't know how to knit, and now I'm looking to find someone near me who does! I'm hoping to talk them into making me one. ;D/ BEM |

Oh Dear! That bun cover/snood did not work out as I thought it would. :'( So, I turned it into a door knob cover instead. Needless to say my hubby made some very off color jokes about it. ::) Not to worry, there more pattern to try. I just purchased a snood pattern for a 1940's lacy snood and I have started that. 8-)
