Recently I saw these pictures of a rock star from Australia. I have serious hair envy now.....if only my blonde mane would grow like this guy's hair!

I agree with you! This guy has some great lookin' hair.......if opbnly mine was soooh thick and sooh long! my hair is about 34 to 35 inches long now, so I have a long way to go.

My monitor at work is super dark so I didn't realize how long his hair really was until now! How many inches do you think his hair is?
Oh I think your hair looks just as great, Jim. Patience will get you longer hair too, I'm sure. :)

Frogi,

I would guess this guy's hair is at least 65 inches long or longer...depending on his height. It may be 70 inches long if he's around 6'-0" tall. I'm 6'-2", so mine would need to be like 76" long to be "floorlength".......just dreaming, of course. That would be over twice as long as my hair is now!

Whoa, that's amazing. :o Hair that long would be awesome (as of right now, but I've got a long way to go before it gets to my goal), plus even if I had it that long for awhile, I'd want to give some to cancer patients, so even if I'm getting it cut, I know it's for a good cause.

Do you happen to know his name, it's possible I've heard of him

WOW! Just logged on after being away from a while and saw this guys fabulous hair. He's not bad either. Even at the ends it looks in good condition. I adore men with long hair.

I loved Marti Pellow's (Wet Wet Wet) and Mick Hucknall's (Simply Red) long hair and was very disappointed when they cut it off. Still love them though.

I am not familiar with those two long haired men you mentioned just above. How long was their hair? I am trying my best to get past waistlength to at least buttlength. Maybe I'll make it one day.

Hi Jim,

I am from England so maybe the two groups I mentioned did not make it over there, shame! Your loss America. I think Marti Pellow's was around what we ladies would call bras strap length. Mick Hucknall's was a bit shorter. Mick Hucknall is a red head with really curly hair and I think he looked great with his hair long, but then I'm biased. I'm sure you will remember Wet Wet Wet if I tell you that they sang Love is all around which was a hit in the 60's by the Troggs, (if you go that far back). It was the theme song to Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Mick Hucknall had a lot of big hits over hear and has a truly amazing voice but i'm not sure if he ever cracked the States. I'm sure though, if you went to one of your music shop sites and looked up his name you could browse the CD's and maybe one or two will give you the opportunity to hear some of his stuff. Some of them do. I must get off the subject of music as I could talk about it until the cows come home.

Jules - obviously music is a passion of yours - don't make excuses for it! We all have our obsessions - anyone think there might be a bit of a hair obsession around here?? Some of us are blessed/cursed with many of those passions - for me it is hair, biking, and knitting. Strange combination, but hey - that's what makes us unique! ;D

Simply Red was big, although not superbig, in the eighties. He did a lot of ballads. I remember him, and if someone listed one of his songs I'd go, "Oh yeah, that was him" but I can't think of anything at the moment. I don't remember his hair as long though.

So what does the gorgeous haired, or maybe I should simply say gorgeous, rock star sing?

Okay, so I went over to Eyefear's website and left a message complimenting Mr. Ceceti on his hair, and asked "What's your secret for such healthy looking long hair." (And may have mentioned something about long hair on a man looking sexy.. :P)

Anyway.... just wondering how many folks will be complimenting him on his hair. ::)

I am a straight longhaired guy, but I would love to get my hands in that guy's hair!

There is also a guitarist by the name of Herman Li who has exceptionally long hair for a male.

:oI ... Am in love with his hair. And Music. Sounds sort of like Iron Maiden at their best. Heh. My guy was joking about moving to Australia and owning a sheep station earlier. While I don't know about the sheep.... :-/ If that's typical australian hair and/or music... ;)

K, thanx for posting the pic. I saw the link and thought "Lord this will take hours on dial up". Wow, that is awesome. Ok, I am getting to old, never heard of him...but if K is right and they sound like Iron Maiden...I am IN. I am near 40 and I LOVED Maiden. Went to all the concerts!!! Even the last one which was poor. Thanx K for putting me on to this.

Seriously, even on dialup, you should check out the myspace... after the song loads, well... wow. or go to their website, posted here earlier, and take the time to download some of the songs on their "sounds" page. It's worth it.

I hadn't ever even heard of iron maiden, until I moved in with my guy last september. he's a total maiden fan, owns every cd bruce dickinson sang on.

Oh wow! I can't wait to show this so my hubby! He'll get a kick out of this! He was trying to grow his hair out long but had to cut it off for a promotion. :'( It wasn't anywhere near your length and definitely not near the rocker's, but it was gorgeous.
