Thanks for the compliments ladies!  You make me feel very good about my hair.  I love to give compliments to long haired people very much, but it's nice to receive them as well.  I'll post more pics as time goes on......a ponytail next time!

Actually, I do love my hair....but it's not nearly as thick and long as I would desire.  I also love red hair very much......like strawberry blondes! I have considered coloring it that color many times.

Yeah I agree with everyone. Beautiful hair and so healthy looking and a really great colour, I would love to be blonde but should be grateful for what I've got.

It's nice to hear that you like compliments.  Every time I stop to compliment a man on his gorgeous long hair around here, he looks at me like I am completely insane and runs off annoyed.  I don't get it.  When I compliment women, they thank me and might chat for a minute.  The men around here get really upset and walk away all fast like you've done something wrong by telling them their hair looks great.  -shrug-  I don't get it.

So, since you like to be complimented, I'll save my awe for you.  ;)  lol

BTW, what is up with men who cut their hair when they get a girlfriend?  Our one friend had gorgeous hair for years and loved it long.  I helped him find good shampoo to keep it nice, and I gave him some tips for maintaining it.  Then he got a girlfriend, and as much as he liked long hair she said if he was dating her he would have to cut it.  Now he has this super short cut that SHE likes, which no one else finds attractive on him in any way.  It's not that it's short, it's that it's unflattering for him.  But he keeps his hair super short, trimmed close to his head, for her.  -tsk-  Suck a shame.  :(

I'm in US  Pittsburgh, PA.  I don't understand it, either, because they have such nice hair and ought to know that people will compliment them.  So many different cultures have had men who have had long hair, and it's a shame when people have lost site of that.  For instance, some Native Americans would only cut their hair when they were in mourning.  I miss that mindset.
