Title: Non-Sulfate Shampoos Post by UP_Lisa on Apr 27th, 2006 at 4:06pm
Hello. If you use non-sulfate shampoos, have you found any that you really like? I'm still searching.
Thank you. |

Ooh, there is still a soul on these boards who hasn't heard my praises for Chagrin Valley shampoo bars. ;D
There is a thread about them on Products board, and I also rave about them in my journals (both 2005 and this year). Great results, cheap, nice routine and divine smell, all in one. ;D |

I've heard of these, but figured they'd be too much of a pain with my hard water.

That might be true. There are liquid sulfate-free shampoos, but I doubt they would be much better, since soap is pretty much the only alternative for sulfates. The biggest advantage of sulfates is, that they work so well with hard water. :-/
Some people wash their hair with herbs and like them...I don't know how they would react with hard water. |

I bought some the other day and the Brand is Pave's. I really love it and we have hard water. It doesn't lather but it sure cleans my hair. I love the smell too. Its almost citrusy. I bought the shampoo and a couple of different conditioners in a Safeway grocery store but it seems like most of the big box stores carry it as well.
