I'm not a big coffee drinker, but my friends in my major are.  That's a good tip to tell them!  You always find cool articles, BB.

*shrug* I'm no longer an avid Starbucks patron... and even when I was, cappuccinos were the last thing I would order. Bleagh.  :P

Corporate tactics are sleazy but unavoidable. It's all about the green these days.  ::)

I've never had Starbucks coffee as I cannot drink coffee, it makes me way too nervous.  I'm a tea person.  We only have one Starbucks out here, the rest is Tim Hortons (its a Canadian thing eh?)   ;D

Just to clarify - I do not work for Starbucks, I do not drink Starbucks, I do not drink coffee, I do not even like the SMELL of coffee.

However, I do believe in getting the most for your money.  So........ for those of you who do drink Starbucks, I posted this article.  ;D

I'm both a tea and coffee drinker. However, it's better for you to order a latte or cappucino (half milk and hlaf coffee) because espresso has less caffine (because teh steaming of the beans releases the caffiene). I also notice that the people who don't like Starbucks and have been there usally order "caffe americano." This is a watered down espresso. Of course it's going to taste bad..
Also I notice that American style cofee (not espresso) is watery and so is American tea...yuck. What has happened to American taste? Its weak...just liek chcolate here. Poeple think hersheys is real chocolate (not talkign about all Americans but the majority) and when peopel try real chcolate (liek 70 percent dark withotu the pimple causing *vanillin*) they can;t believe that it's actually chcolate! Hersheys is lard!-_- Good chcoalte si shiny and makes a loud crack when you break it and shouldnt have white stuff on teh edges.
So as I was saying before I was so rudely interupted by myself (:P) perhaps you migth liek to try espresso with warm/steamed milk. It will taste different form folgers (and has less caffiene and a bolder taste).
Also it's best fi you make a latte/cappucino at home. Gte an espresso machine, it will save you money! For a latte try 10-30 percent of your cup filled with espresso then teh rest steamed milk. And teh foam on top shouldn't really be bubbly at all. You shoudl try and achieve a shaving cream-like look (micro bubbles).
