Hullo! Lovely to have so many friendly people on this site! As I said in the welcoming thread, that I would post a picture of my hair as soon as I could, and I have one!

That is my natural hair-colour, but I have to admit, it looks as if its been dyed, because of the dark shadow on my roots! But its not been dyed! :D

WOW! Sure looks like you have a lot of hair ;D.
I get the same thing where my roots look quite a bit darker than the length. Over time the sun lightens the ends, but I try not to find it too annoying.

Wow that is some killer Hair, I get accused of coloring my hair as well, it seems the sun lightens it up so the body of it stays light and the roots grow in darker till the sun can go to work on it. Winter my hair grows in a little darker for that reason. The lighter the color the bigger the contrast between the roots and the length.

I actually haven't measured it around the pony-tail before, but thats a very good idea! I'll do that and post it next time I'm online!

It must be just the photograph which makes the roots look dark, cos in real life, there's not much difference between my roots and the rest of the hair ::) Bit weird I know!

If you do decide to measure, you might want to post your numbers in the "measure up!" thread. That way you can track your progress and share your numbers with the rest of us. :)

Yeah its closer to red :) Its peculiar, cos it changes colour! Some days it can be a strawberry blonde colour....others, it can be quite red, and other days, it can be darker.
But generally, its a light gingery colour.

As the picture was downloading, I could see the top of your head & was thinking what nice shiny color, then at midway was like 'OK, she has long hair I guess', then it kept going & going...& going, WOW! Your hair is truly beautiful, I envy your color and thickness - gorgeous!

Your hair is a very "rare" color of blonde, imho. It looks awesome. That's a color that many companies would LOVE to bottle. ;)

hehehe!!! Well in the past, I've thought about colouring my hair, but the thing is, I know how badly it could damage it, and I wouldn't want to have to grow it all out, cos I love having long hair!
Besides, if I coloured it, I think my Nan and Mum would kill me, cos they like it how it is!

WOW !! What fantastic hair and the colour is great, I'm a redhead too and am hoping to have my picture up on the baords soon.
