Giovianni products.
http://www.giovannicosmetics.com Beware, the page takes FOREVER to load. I've been using these products now for about two monthes, and I and my hair LOVES them! Here's a basic list on what's in their products: Vitapro Leave-in Hair Treatment Aqua with Rosemary Oil, Nettle Oil, Thyme Oil, Birch Leaf Oil, Chamomile Oil, Clary, Lavender, Coltsfoot Leaf, Yarrow Oil, Mallow, Horsetail oil, Soybean protein, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Trace minerals, PVP, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxmethyglycinate, Grapefruit Seed. 50:50 Balanced Shampoo for Normal to Dry hair Aqua with Rosemary Oil, Nettle Oil, Thyme Oil, Birch Leaf Oil, Chamomile Oil, Clary, Lavender, Coltsfoot Leaf, Yarrow Oil, Mallow, Horsetail oil, Soybean protein, C12-14 Olefin Sulfonate (coconut derived), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Trace minerals, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxmethyglycinate, Sodium Chloride (Sea Salt), Grapefruit Seed. Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor Aqua with Rosemary Oil, Nettle Oil, Thyme Oil, Birch Leaf Oil, Chamomile Oil, Clary, Lavender, Coltsfoot Leaf, Yarrow Oil, Mallow, Horsetail oil, Soybean protein, Cetyl Alcohol (Plant derived), Stearalkonium Chloride, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Trace minerals, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxmethyglycinate, Grapefruit Seed. 50:50 Balanced Hair Remoisturizer Aqua with Rosemary Oil, Nettle Oil, Thyme Oil, Birch Leaf Oil, Chamomile Oil, Clary, Lavender, Coltsfoot Leaf, Yarrow Oil, Mallow, Horsetail oil, Soybean protein, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Acetamide MEA, Cetyl Alcohol (plant derived), Trace minerals, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxmethyglycinate, Grapefruit Seed. Straight FAST! Hair Straightening Elixer Aqua with Soybean protein, Rosemary, Nettle, Wild Bergamont, California Poppy, Rosehips, Glycerine (Coconut/ Palm oil), Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Phenyltrimethicone, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Sodium Hydroxmethyglycinate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate (Sunscreen) Now, their "Smooth as Silk" conditioner does contain a -cone in it (Dimethicone I believe), but I use to 50:50 Balanced Shampoo and 50:50 Balanced Hair Remoisturiser as well as the Leave-in. All SLS-free and majority -cone free as well, they smell heavenly and leave my hair gorgeous looking AND feeling. The lather on the shampoo is just enough to create bubbles/ foam and the conditioner is so rich and think that you hardly need alot of it (This took me a while to get used to, because all the previous conditioners I had tried were thin-ish and I was CO washing.) Giovanni products should be available in most Health Food Stores, as that's where I got mine. :) ~Kaylin |

Hmmm, that does not seem to be the hair care Giovanni site. I'm trying to find a site that actually provides product information, but so far I can only find retail sites.

Hmm, I'll have to give this stuff a try. Has anyone tried the 50:50 Balanced Hair Remoisturizer? The product ingredients sound awesome.

Hey, Panpeus! My current conditioner just happens to be the 50:50 Balanced Hair Remoisturizer. Although I'm only half-way through my first bottle of it, my hair loves that conditioner! Compared to the Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose I was using before, this one leaves my hair silkier and it's so much easier to rinse out. I like to mix one part honey to two parts 50:50 BHR, and although it becomes a bit runny, the end result is great.

I really like the "Smooth as Silk" shampoo and conditioner.
I never was able to successfully CO completly, for me twice a week pooing with a non sulfate works well. The Giovanni S/C gives my fine hair lots of body. I also like the mousse, It's a good styling product without all the chemicals. The direct leave-in is a little heavy for my hair, I've been trying to tweak the amount, but it's too heavy. I think it would be great on very dry, or thick hair. |

You're right. My hair is both very dry and thick and the Direct Leave In works great for my hair.
