I ordered two of these ribbons (Mango Sorbet and Summer Sky). They aren't "satiny" like regular silk ribbon, but thin and silky. They are less slippery than regular ribbons and are easy to braid. Colors are just beautiful. IMO, for longhairs, cutting the ribbon to half as the site suggests isn't probably a good idea (especially if you want to braid the ribbon). As my hair isn't that long yet, I just folded the ribbon. The ribbon is so light-looking that this doesn't look "overdecorated". To put it short: these are great ribbons, and for the purpose of securing hair and/or braiding, these are best I've found. I'm certainly going to order more of these in future. |

Thanks for the review, Galadriel! They look really pretty and I was thinking of ordering a couple, but I'm afraid I might not use them after their novelty wears off.

Thanks for the link!! I love to braid ribbons into my hair, but I have been using narrow ribbons and they often hide.
