Oh my God, I just tried to dye my hair medium blonde which my hair color is normally a dark blonde and the first time I put streaks in my hair it ruiend my roots.. and they ended up a very dark brown so I had to keep dying my hair blonde, Well I got  Clairol  medium blonde and after dying my hair it ended up being a bluish silver color!! and my hair is AWFUL looking.... :( I have no idea what to do and I leave in a week to go to kali to see my brother graduate the marine corps and theirs like a million hot guys there...... PLEASE help!!! email me at mulishaxbxtch@aol.com I would appreciate  it soo much Thanks..

hi,

i would ask family and friends where they get there hair colored or done and go specifically to that person and salon. get it proffessionally corrected. thats what i would do. goodluck. do your research before you jump the gun. IN OTHER WORDS....... dont go to anyone!

p.s. i dont know how to do at home coloring.

I would also recommend going to someone that specializes in hair coloring.  They would know best how to counteract your current color.

Good luck.

Something similar happened to my dark ash blonde hair when I tried using light ash blonde dye on it.  All of my platinum hair turned this awful purplish-grey color.  I fixed that by dyeing it dark golden blonde, but the color was not shiny and looked bad too.  Now I just use henna..no more chemicals for my hair.

I also would recommend getting it professionally corrected.  I've seen posts for fixing hair that turned green from coloring, but not blue/silver.  And since you are in a hurry, you'd save time and extra damage to your hair by going to a colorist.

I hope it all works out for you!
