Title: Herbal hair products & pregnancy
Post by Superfine on Sep 13th, 2005 at 7:30pm
Hi there!!  It's been a while since I posted but I'm back.  Unfortunately my hair is still short...can't seem to get it past my shoulders without chopping it off (super fine, oily scalp, straight & limp)....however, I am trying to start using rinses again to deepen my brown coloring and add softness and shine.  My question:  I am 6 months pregnant (unfortunately no change in hair...I was hoping for thick & luxurious pregnancy hair if only for a short period...but, no)....is it safe to use herbs and rinses on my hair?  I mainly use sage, rosemary, nettle and ACV

I loved this post to the Long Locks Lounge, people can respond to you here, thank you

i'm pretty sure that using herbs during pregnancy is safe, i mean they are not chemicals or anything.

But i do know that the herbs you are using are mainly used for dry hair and hair thinning. Here are the herbs used for oily hair and/or scalp, bayleaf, chamomile, horsetail, lemongrass, mint, thyme, and nettle (which you are using already).

HTH :)
