Here we go :)

My longest layer in the back is 46.8 cm as of today.
My shortest one on the sides is 14cm
The waves are leftovers from the perm
Without that, my hair will be totally straight

Long way to go 8)

Long way to go, yes, but don't we all one way or another, too? :)
So let us grow our hair together!
It's good that you found out about proper hair care now, so when you reach your goal your hair will be super healthy :)

Ahhh, nothing like growing out a perm, bangs, layers, whatever. Patience and posting on LL on your rougher days will lift your spirit and get you through.

Ditto on the color - I love it!

You now have a great picture to use for comparisons and to document your growth. Making your long hair decision at this stage is soooo much better than when I decided at mid back!

What exactly did you have done to it? I know cause I had bleach damage just a few days ago. So I'm in the process of growing out also. You look like you might of had layers? Unless it broke off like mine did.

Hi leelah :) when that picture was taken, I was (still am) in the process of growing out a perm. The hair was in lots of layers and I had been coloring it some reddish tone for years. Since I joined LL I have quit all of these bad hair habbits :)
