Title: In-N-Out Post by wishing4longhair on Aug 8th, 2005 at 3:29pm
*sigh* I like In-N-Out. I had some yesterday and it was yummy. ;D Any one else had In-N-Out? Any CA natives?
For the rest of you who are in the dark, In-N-Out is a burger/50's looking place and I think it's only in California. You can stand there and watch them make the burgers and the fries are made from real potatos (I've seem them cut put the potatos myself) It's a cute place and I like their burgers. Sorry if that seemed a little random, but I just wanted to share. :) Meg |

We have several In-N-Out's here in "the Valley" (which means Phoenix and surrounding areas) in Arizona. I have eaten there once or twice. I prefer Fatburger. Have you tried them? I think they originated in CA.

We have both those places in Santa Barbara, and they're pretty good. But the best burgers in town is at Hamburger Habit (and nummy shakes too.)

Wow...In n Out is one of the things I miss most about California.lol That and some place where they had the best fish tacos, Mmmm. I noticed something weird when I was out there for two years or so...A few food chains we have here in the midwest exist there too, but under different names. The one I remember most was Carl's Jr. Here in the good ol' state of WI, its Hardees.
Oh and I miss Costco...But thats unrelated to food! |

Sakina: Have never even seen a Fatburger. Hmmm. Sonic is interesting. I think it's the "roller skate" service that interests me. :)
AtlantisAllure: No, Costco is too food related. Where are you at now that you miss it and other CA stuff? khrome: I must admit, I'm not fond of In-N-Out shakes. I go to a little place called Beef n' Bun. They have massive good shakes. I had a peanut butter chocolate one. It was just like drinking a Reeses cup. :D Why is food such a fun topic? ;) Meg |

AtlantisAllure, have you tried Sam's Club? That's where I go when I need a Costco style fix east of the Rockies. Their website has a locator, so you can see if there is one near you. www.samsclub.com

Wishing4LongHair- I live in the Dairy State...Wisconsin. More than just stores and foodchains, I miss the SoCal weather...Humidity here in the Midwest is pretty gross. When I tell people about it being hot here in the north, they giggle and think I am BSing them! It was 92 today. Ick.
Divewench - We do have a Sam's Club around here...I've been there a few times. Thank you for the link though. :) |
