[I'm locking this thread so that we can be sure each new person creates their own thread for their introduction.  If you've not yet introduced yourself, you can use these questions to help tell us who you are.  But don't feel limited to these questions - tell us as much as you'd like! ........ and WELCOME!

How long is your hair?
What color is your hair?
Is your hair straight/curly/wavy?
Do you have favorite products to use on your hair?
What are your favorite hair accessories?
Hi,
I just wanted to introduce myself.  I found this sight when I did a web search.  My hair is 12 inches long, medium brown, wavy, very fine.  I tried a tea recipe last nite with good results.  I altered it a little.  I used black tea and camomile with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and let it sit on my hair for 30 minutes.  I liked the results. (my hubby and sister think I'm nuts for doing this lol, wait until I tell them about the peanut butter!) I recently became allergic to hairdye and i'm looking for safer alternatives.  I love this site!  Everyone is so friendly!  I hope to read more recipes and would love any input you could offer.

Welcome!  That is very interesting about tea - I drink it all the time, but never thought to put it in my hair.  It makes perfect sense, though, since tannins in black teas tend to stain my cups.  That's something I might try if I decide to go darker (I'm in a "go lighter" phase right now.)  :-)

Anyway, glad you found your way here!
Cynde

So sorry to have angered the goddess and to interrupt your introduction, yogagirl. I am now bowing, genuflecting, supplicating and certainly not moving to the exit sign at the doorway.  :-[  ;D

Yeah, my hubby and sons (all short hairs) think wife/mom has gone just a bit strange and wonders about the weird stuff in the bathroom closet ::)
