Do any of you apply a conditoner to your hair while you sleep?

I tried it once and found that it left my hair greasy. Thne I went to wash it out with water. I didn't wnat to shampoo because that would make the nights conditioning pointless. Let me just say it was still geasy.

Now I have fine, wavy  hair. And yes it gtes frizzy when its not taken care of. The conditiign with any overnigth conditioner seemed to drown my hair...odd.

I think I need help lol.

I dont apply conditoner overnight, but I do apply oils/butters before bed. For me, it works about the same as a heavy oiling before I wash. Nothing to great, I still do it just because. I always put a towel over my pillow, just so I am not having to launder it constantly. Just an idea.  :-/

I've never done that -I don't think spouse would like that :p - BUT about once a month I do a deep conditioning at daytime. I let the oil mixture to sit under a shower cap for 1-5 hours+ sauna. Then I shampoo my hair.  Usually, I don't manage to get all the oil out of my hair, so I have to shampoo it again. But, in spite of trouble, these treatments are really good- they help with scalp itching, make hair wonderfully soft and shiney and make it feel stronger.

Here's the recipe:

a generous amount of jojoba oil (I use about 2-3 tbsp for my 23 in long hair)
around 5 drops of Lavender EO
around 5 drops of Rosemary EO

Mix and apply throughout the hair (easiest to apply if you dip your fingers to the oil and finger comb them to hair and scalp). Put a shower cap on and let sit for some time. Simple!

I do the same as Atlantis, except I do a single braid. It helps the hair butters absorb into my hair type better.

I love love LOVE my butters!

My favorite overnight treatment is to mix equal parts oil and deep conditioner.  Wet hair, apply mix and let hair dry.  Be sure to put a towl over your pillow!  To rinse it out, mix your regular conditioner with lemon juice and vinegar.  Love it!

i found this olive oil spray in Walgreens.
its called " organic root stimulater
              olive oil nourishing sheen spray"

the ingredients; light mineral oil, olive oil, isobutan, vegetable oil. lanolin oil, vitamin E, aloe vera, horsetail, nettle, chamomile, propyl paraben.

i spray it on before i sleep and only when i am sure that i have time to take a shower the next morning cuz it sometimes gives my hair a greasy look.
but when i wash it, it looks good and then when my hair dries i spray it on the ends only.
i bought it cuz it does not contain a lot of chemicals, and its organic.
GOOD LUCK :)
