ETA: I did think of something. Perhaps with some quiet violin music in the background, while everyone takes their repast, I could indulge all in a story or two. A tale of fun, frolic, adventure and danger. A story full of monsters, heroes, and daring-do. Sort of like detangling free hair after a ride in a convertible!!!  <WG>

Although I'm already signed up to bellydance, should this shindig last into many days and nights (one can only hope) I will offer my talents (limited as they are) on the acoustic guitar and perhaps even a vocalization or two.  Classical (art songs, arias) and jazz are the styles I favor, but maybe we can all sing some carols.  I can also lead chanting in Sanskrit if you want an exstatic experience (please, please, oh please-its my favorite but it is your party...).

Lisabelle!  You look beautiful  ;D.  I, on the other hand, couldn't find any nice pics of mysef in my RF duds-actually this is the only photo I did find.  My wreath has peac0ck eyes and leaves and floral stuff and ribbons trailing down the back although I'm not sure why I'm not wearing it in the pic 'cause I always wear it to the festivals.  Hummmm.  Curious.
OMG!  It was March 2000 and my hair was still short.  Guess I have made more progress than I'd realized!

This is one of the 2 outfits I've ever made myself.  I pretty much suck at sewing, but the year before this pic was taken my girlfriend and I rented a booth at a new Faire at GVSU in Michigan.  She made lavender sachets and I read tarot cards so I had to have decent clothes, right?!  Sure met a lot of nice people.  I haven't gotten back to the RF since 2000.  Hubby doesn't like to stay all day like I do.  I need a Ren buddy!

Great RF pics!  I've only been to one Faire - as a chaperone to 6th graders on a school field trip  :P.
I loved the fair and would have really enjoy it much more if it weren't for the neurotic hair-pulling of worrying about pre-teens who wouldn't  stay in sight of their appointed leader arghhhhhhhh.
