Title: Need Help From Bikerbraid And Others Post by UP_Lisa on Jul 15th, 2005 at 2:18pm
Hi. I just got some of those bungee things for hair. Now that I have them, I can't imagine how I would get them in my hair. At least not without pulling it all out!
How do you use these things? Lisa |

Bunjii's!! One of my favorite hair toys!!
Since you are asking the question, I am assuming that instructions did not come with your Bunjii. Start with the Bunjii making an "O" with a tail. The tail should be coming out of the top of the cord lock. Slip this on your right wrist. (The tail side will be towards your fingers). With your right hand, grab your hair into a ponytail. With your left hand, slide the bunjii over your right hand and to the base of your pony tail. Holding the Bunjii, close to your head, pull the tail of your ponytail thru the loop of the Bunjii. (At this point it is like putting a regular hairtie or scrunchie on your ponytail). To tighten the Bunjii, with your left hand, hold the cordlock in place and pull on the loose end with your right hand. Once it is snug around your ponytail, start to wrap the tail around the base of your ponytail, with each loop of the Bunjii tail being closer to your scalp. When you have make all the wraps you can/want, place the tail into the groove of the cord lock. I usually make sure I have pulled on the elastic a bit so that it is snug. You might find it easier to practice on a braid end first, so that you can see what you are doing, then do it behind your head. Good luck! (By the way - which Bunjii did you get?) |

Thank you for the detailed instructions. I'm going to have to read them again. Maybe a few times.
I got them from hairboutique.com. They were just called Bungee Bands. They say Smoothies on the packages. There are three in a pack. There were no instructions. |

Ahhh, Bungee Bands are a different product from Bunjii cords. Bungee Bands, I believe are thin bungy cord with little hooks on the ends? The idea behind them is to wrap them around your ponytail and let the hook hold it in place. I don't have any of these myself, so I can't say exactly how to use them.
