Title: shampoo/conditioner eczema friendly? Post by khrome on Jul 2nd, 2005 at 10:07pm
I was wondering if anyone with eczema (skin condition) has found a shampoo and conditioner that works for you? Preferably something without fragrance (because I'm usually allergic to them.)
I used to use hair products from reflect.com but they went out of business last month, and I'm down to half bottle of each. Eep. Thanks, Cynde |

Would a dermatologist or another type of doctor be able to make a reccommendation? I don't have this condition so I'm afraid I can't be of more help. Oh, you might want to do a search on www.longhaircommunity.com. They have a ton of posts there and you might find something useful. HTH. Good luck!

Well, the ones the doc would recommend would tend to make my hair feel completely brittle or waxy - I'm not even sure how to describe. But they go way overboard.
I don't need a treatment for eczema per se. Just something that is fragrance (or mild enough fragrance so my allergies don't kick in) so that it doesn't get aggravated. Some things I've been successful with have been Agree and Abba. I just didn't want to spend a whole lot of money trying different shampoos that I won't end up using. I guess I could go back to Abba but that made me flakier than the stuff I use now... hmmm I will try LHC though - good idea! Cynde |
