Today marks the first day of assertive hair care.

Bought a "camping shower," one of those hang-up bags that you set in the sun to warm up the water, and used distilled water in it to wash my hair (hung it up in the shower while I was washing the rest of me). Hair  sure felt smooth and clean! Will let it air/towel dry overnight and comb it in the morning.

Bought some supplements for joints that are horse-pill sized. Seem to be good for hair as well judging by advice here. Need to get bigger pill organizer!

Plan is to trim hair some more; will get pix with digital camera first, though, so I can track "before and after" progress over the next few months.
