Hey, all. I've been reading this message board for the past week and couldn't help but join. I have really enjoyed all I've learned here.
Ok, about me: I live in sunny San Diego, CA. My hair is brown, BSL and curly. Last May (2004) I dyed it semitemp black, so it is growing out. I won't do that again. It was supposed to only last 24 washes...and here it is more that a year later and I'm still dark in places. :-/
I am growing my hair out until I graduate Point Loma Nazarene University (which will be next May) I haven't decided if I will cut it at that point or wait until I get married and then cut it or just leave it. Don't know. My boyfriend likes it long, so I told him we would talk about cutting it next May.
I can't think of anything else to include. There ya go.

Hey, I have a question for you: I have been told in order to display a picture, we have to have it online somewhere. How would I go about getting picutres online so I can post them?

Edit: You can post a picture of your hair in the "Show off Your Locks" area. (It's in the "Chit Chat" section!)

As for pictures - one site I have heard many people using is PictureTrail. I believe they have a freebie program for hosting pictures. Someone else might be able to give some other suggestions.

First, let me direct you to the LL tip of the month, which describes in detail how to post a picture here.

Then, I can give you the URL for the site where I posted the picture for my avatar and the one that I embedded in my picture post.

The first is http://photobucket.com/ which is a site that will host pictures for free.

The second, which does not work for avatars, is http://tinypic.com/ which seems to work fine for embedding pictures in messages.

And finally, doing a google on "picture hosting" without the quotes will results in tons-o-others.
