Well, I'm warning you you're gonna see my face...
In this first pic, I hot rolled my hair. I didn't blow dry it, so I tried to be gentle. I didn't have time to put in rag curls which would have been my preference.

And heeeeeeeeeere's the wig! I was really worried about it but I think it turned out quite nice. After investigating what it would take to have a hairdresser do finger waves the wig was the better option. Everything but the shoes and hose came from Bonnie's Treasures costumes & vintage clothing. They were great to do business with.

This is the first recital that I didn't wear a pair of LL hairsticks.
My thanks to eKatherine for the great advice on the wig from her "Keep It Casual" posting.

WOW! Great costumes! I'm sure the voice was fantastic as well. Wish I could attend one of your recitals - they look like fun.

Thanks, BB! I really do love performing. I had gotten out of it for a long while (like 10 years) and truly felt something was missing from my life. I feel much more a whole person with my artistic endeavors.
Now this is following my bliss ;D

:oLookin' good! Much prefer the longer hair ;D--that short '20's bob is best left for wigs ;)

Thank you, PreciousLocks. Once upon a time when I was younger I was sharing my joy of singing and was accused of braging. That incident has made me cautious in sharing such things. Your votes of confidence go along way with me ;D

Personally I think false modesty is much more annoying than some good honest bragging ;D, so buck up and take your due ...g
