Title: After just lurking for a couple of weeks... Post by NaturalRogue on May 17th, 2005 at 10:37pm
I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a 41 yo male from Dallas, TX with long (ya'll would say BSL), fine, wavy to curly hair. Let me say that this site is a wealth of information and I've truly enjoyed all the tips and recipes for healthy long hair.

Welcome, NaturalRogue. How long have you been growing your hair? You forgot to say what color it is!

Most helpful? Mmmm, don't wish to exclude any of the wonderful ideas. I think one of the simplest and most dramatic, for me, was using aloe vera gel as a means to stop all the stray hairs from popping out. Using the aloe vera as a mousse. This past weekend I mixed the gel with some coconut oil when I went to the renaissance fair. Even by the end of the day, I didn't have all the little short wisps sticking out from the top of my head. The daily oiling of the ends of my hair has been very good for my hair as well. And finally, do to al the talk on 'cones, I've gone 'cone free too. It's taken about 2 weeks to see the difference, but I love it. |

GREAT!
I'm always curious what the "guys" find useful on this site, which is obviously geared to the gals. We don't mean to exclude the men and would like more participation from them. Any suggestions or ideas from you would be appreciated. |
