Title: Hair for my Prom Post by British brunette on May 2nd, 2005 at 5:59pm
Normally I wear it in a single braid, so no-one in my class knows how long it really is - if I undo it to tidy it up at school, it's wavy. So my plan is to have it hanging loose with the hair at the front fixed at the back: hopefully straight or straighter than it normally is.
I know there are several ways of fixing the hair at the front: twisting sectiong at a time or just leave it plain and put a band at the back, but I was wondering if you had any ideas. :) |

French braids that meet in the back with a barrette, clip or other pretty hair toy is always a good look.
Recently I did my neighbor's hair before her prom. I did a french braid on each side, joined them at the back of the head and continued to braid to the end. I then threaded a large darning needle with a satin ribbon and "sewed" the ribbon through the braids and ended with the ribbons tied at the end of the single braid. Adding a few small flowers to the hair will dress it up even more. Another option would be to twist the hair in narrow rows. Each row can be secured with a cute little claw clip or other clasp or elastic. Hope these ideas help. :D |

That sounds really cool: I'll practise that - thank you! ;D
