I like Emu - put it on your scalp too it's good for disolving old grease and has all kinds of good fatty acids and vitamins in it ....g

I tryed the Emu oil :D I really liked it! I found just a dab helps with dryness and is not greasy. I use Emu Essence, pure emu oil. It is $30 CDN for 2 fluid ounces :-/ so I am using it sparingly. To oil my whole head I will stay with the Amla which is $2.49 CDN for 200 ml 8)

I should have clarified that I only use the emu the night before (or before a workout) then it gets washed out - other than that I use it as a penetrating agent for other oils and EO's.
Alas, being the big wuss that I am I probably won't rebuy Emu as I'm finding out that they really do get the oil only from killing the birds albeit for food - it's a specialty market that I don't want to encourage and jojoba (wax actually), seabuckthorn, and a whole heap of other oils work almost as well. It's good though - so I certainly wouldn't recommend against it for anyone else ...g |
