Title: Loopy Twister Hair accessory by Goody
Post by Lisabelle on Apr 25th, 2005 at 7:12pm
Hi All,  :)

I have had this ponytailer for some time now and I think I'm too daft to use it!  :P  I've tried it and can't seem to get it right.  I even practiced on a wig with no results.  I tryed e-mailing Goody for  more detailed instuctions and perhaps a picture but no respones in a long time. :-/ It is an covered elastic with four to six loops tied in it.

Has anyone ever used this thing?  It supposed to make a bun in your hair... ???

The goody website has a link to instructions:

I'll bet you aren't the only one having trouble with it.  I looked at its pic on the website and it looks very confusing.  ???

Thanks for the website :)  And your right, it is hard to understand the picture instructions :-/  Oh well, there better things to put in your hair  :D  (saves money to get a set of longlocks hairsticks ;D )

I've never had any luck with any of those kind of things.  I have two french braid tools, a herringbone braiding tool and a a Hairdini.  Never could figure out how to use any of them.  I've had more luck frenchbraiding(sort of) on my own.

I never had luck with those things either, I got the Herringbone thing and never got it to work. The only thing I got that semi-works is the Easy Braid, I just never have taken the time to really practice with it. I think most of the time it is because the instuctions are so poor. The product would likely work but the instructions are too skimpy.

I have these!  My hair was too short to use them when I bought them, and I just tried it again yesterday.
My twister looks more like a regular holder, not a scrunchi.

So, here's how it turned out...
