Title: NEW WASH METHOD!! Post by Anais Satin on Feb 11th, 2005 at 1:53pm
Hi All,
.... a new wash method!!! ;D ;D ;D A name for a new washing method! Well, maybe others have tried it... but hey, it's the C-Cow-C or C- -C LOL! It's a cow because you've got CO and W in the same step! I didn't know how else to put it. Just now, I put a dose of shampoo in a ketchup bottle, added 1-2 tbsp of V05 Sunkissed Raspberry, filled it to the half line and shook it up. It became frothy like cappuchino foam. Squirted on the scalp and massaged like a regular shampoo. Cutting shampoo this way added moisture and ya get the best of both worlds. The grease goes away, but the moisture can stay. Woohoo! a dose being whatever amount of shampoo you normally use... same with the light conditioner, too. I used a 24 oz squeezie ketchup bottle, but it doesn't matter really (as long as it fits comfortably in your hand). I diluted into about 12 oz of water. The C-COW-C!!! Yippee! ;D ;D Anais |

Mooo ;D
I'll have to be careful not to get my cows mixed up. We have portable computers for charting at the hospital. Since they are on carts for taking room to room they are called....[glb]C[/glb]omputers [glb]O[/glb]n [glb]W[/glb]heels. I usually use Bessie, she's my favorite ! It makes for some lighthearted jokes. ;) You're new method sure makes sense though. |

How cute! What are the other COW Names? |

Actually we only have one other COW named, she's Irma. Then we had 2 of the tablet computers that would store in the baskets near the base of the computer carts. We decided these 2 were bulls (visual pun)--we named them Earl and Johnny da Bull (we had a pro wrestling fan on staff at the time). ;D

Anais, I tried this last night and it worked great. Iit feels just as good as a CO wash.

Hey, sounds like a good idea! COing on my scalp has always left me too greasy, but I always feel like shampoo alone doesn't leave enough moisture, but does leave me with the frizzies. ::) I will definitely try this next time I wash.

I tried your C-COW-C, Anais. I really like it! Keeps my hair from getting greasy like happens with CO, but much softer and less frizzy than shampoo alone.
Thanks! |

I tried this yesterday morning, and it worked great! I was able to mix my White Rain conditioner (which normally leaves me super oily) with my normal shampoo, and I felt sooo soft and light and clean. I did end up kinda frizzy, but that's because of the rain. ::) Overall, a great success. Thanks for sharing, Anais! :)

Been using a variation on this, to compensate for rampant frizz - I baste the length with CO, then do the COW on the scalp, rinsing the whole thing. Then I CO like regular.
Lovely! I can't do just CO as it's too greasy, but this gives me jussssst enough W to compensate. |
