You guys don't know how welcome these birthday wishes are. I had the great hair days (thanks to CWC!) but the worst birthday-my bestest bud kitty cat Magus died Thursday morning. He was being treated by a vet starting this Monday.
Your sweet wishes lift my spirits-never have I mourned a loss so deeply.

Sakina - I'm so sorry for your loss! :'(

My closest friend/companion for 20 years was my dear kitty pique. She died this past July. I was on vacation in South Dakota. She wasn't ever sick, just drifted away in her sleep, in her favorite bed next to my mom. I still miss her terribly, but I'm so glad she was with me so long!

Thanks, everyone.
Magus was pretty young, would have been 4 years old this March. I am greatful for the time we did have.
It was so sudden I'm still in a state of shock.
Luckily I still have his sister, and she's adapting to him being gone.
It just really sucks. :(
