I'm not sure I know how to do this...

The big, outdoor picture shows my hair uncombed, after washing, conditioning, blotting and air drying.

My avatar pic was combed one time with a wide toothed comb.

Thank you all so much! Coming from you ladies with your beautiful long hair, I really consider these as extreme compliments!

It's thanks to the things I've learned here that my hair is getting into better condition, and it really is. I can't wait for the length!

Your hair looks nice and thick even if your name is 'fine' it looks thick. ;) Very nice color and healthy looking too. :)

finally i have an idea what your hair looks like!! nice color, healthy ends ... if you keep them up like that you won't be forced to cut of a lot. what's so nice when you start growing your hair is that a couple of months of growth really shows and people notice which is very encouraging... once around waist NOONE does anymore!!! you have to wait at least 8 months before they do.

You're lucky to be able to get a good start with keeping your hair healthy while it's still short, unlike some of us who didn't start taking good care of it until it was already long. ::) Your hair looks to be in very good condition; nice and thick, especially at the ends. Keep it up!

Your hair is beautiful - oh, to have known then what I know now about long hair care!!!

You are too lucky, SF - Your hair will outshine us "long hairs" who jumped on the hair-care-bandwagon late in the game!

I don't think I'll ever outshine anyones hair but to get all these compliments from people who have such beautiful long hair~I'm overwhelmed.
