Locks of Love doesn't operate here (I doubt they never will) but I've got to know that organization on boards. The way long-haired people seem to be pressed to donate their hair (body parts  :o ) is just sad. So just in case I'll ever get into trouble with them I thought up this argument.

X: You know, you should cut your hair and donate it to LoL.
Me: Since you are so caring, I think you should donate your kidney. A healthy human can do perfectly well with just one. There are many people out there whose life you could save by donating.

I don't think I'll ever find myself in that predicament though. My hair grows too damn slow!  >:(

They probably wouldn't want my hair, either!  it grows
too slow, too!  Too thin!

The other thing I've read (and I apologize if it was here, I just can't remember now), is that human hair wigs are difficult to care for and probably not the best things for children.  My mother decided that she was going to donate her hair when it gets a bit longer, and I told her it would be better for her to sell her hair, then use the money to donate a synthetic wig to kids.  

Or my choice of course would just be to buy the synthetic wig and keep her long hair, but I have to remember that not everyone wants classic length hair.  

Luckily no one has ever suggested such a thing to me and I hope they never do.  >:(
