This is such a cool idea. I've been looking around the message board for a few days. I'm so inspired by everyone's hair stories and pictures. Must remember to work out a way to post one of my pictures. I've been using De Lorenzo products for around six months now. My hair has never been in better condition, especially for it's length. I recently tried their equilibrium intensive hair treatment. Very nice. The second time I tried it I'd been at the beach all day and despite some effort to protect my hair I came back to the house with one big knot filled with sea water and sand- not good. Anyway, I washed my hair, used the treatment and left it to dry. My hair ended up soft and silky even the ends which are often quite dry. The moisturiser and leave in conditioner have also worked wonders! |

DeLorenzo, huh.....I never heard of that before. Is that a salon product? Costly? I'm always on the hunt for a better hair product, I'll never be satisfied!

De Lorenzo is great. I've never found anything as good. My daughter brought home a bad case of nits at Easter this year and the nit shampoos really fried my hair and scalp. I had to get the ends trimmed slightly but their hair moisturiser really helped the rest of it. Their Scalp Balance Toner got rid of the rash I got as well. (We used that one on my daughter a few years ago because she had such bad cradle cap. It cleared it up really quickly and it can be used on eczema on the scalp as well.)
I'm not sure what a salon product means. You can only get it at a hairdressers if that helps? On the subject of nits Licetec Robi Comb Pro is really good. It's a comb which runs on batteries. It makes this high pitched sound which sort of falters when it runs into a nit which it then zaps. You can use it a couple of times a day which really helps and there's no harsh chemicals! Most of the shampoos don't even get rid of all the nits anyway! Can you tell I'm a bit sensitive on the subject of nits? I thought we'd never get rid of them. We still haven't since my daughter keeps getting re-infected but at least this comb controls the situation, takes far less time, is far less damaging to skin and hair, is far cheaper in the long term and is far more effective. Anyway, enough about nits. I've got some space on the internet and hope to get some pictures up this week. I got some hair, nail and skin vitamins this week. It will be interesting to see how much of a difference they make. |

I went to a New Years Party last night. It was alot of fun. My hair didn't enjoy it as much as I did though! I wore my hair out which was fine except that I didn't braid it before bed and woke-up to a head full of tangles! I really wasn't in the mood to untangle it either. I got my own domain for Christmas so I've finally got my photos on the net. The address is http://hairstuff.emdobbs.com/ (click on the picture to enter the album) |

A friend of mine had the same problem. She said that the only thing that worked was to oil their hair up with olive oil and use the special little comb. Evidently, nits can't climb hair drenched in olive oil.. too slippery. Good luck to you! |
