Title: How do I make my hair work? Post by Mez263 on Nov 18th, 2004 at 11:38pm
I want a "mop top" where they curl at the ends and go down over my ears... right now my hair is between long and short... more short, its frizzy and it curls at random places and feels terrible. I use pantene Pro-V treatment but it still looks like crap. How can I cut my hair and what product should I use so that it doesn't look and feel like crap and so that it grows in mop-top instead of afro. By the way I am a male.

Welcome!
Being an older fuddy-duddy, I'm not sure what the mop-top style is that you are wishing to achieve. But, regarding using Pantene Pro-V: This shampoo/conditioner has a lot of silicone type products. Some hair types cannot handle long term use of the silicones without causing dryness and/or stiff hair. You might try mixing a bit of vinegar in water (1 part vinegar, 3 parts water) and rinsing your hair with it after shampooing, then conditioning. This should remove any product buildup that is probably occuring on your hair. |
