On redheads, or yourself, do you prefer gold jewelry or silver colored jewelry (white gold, silver, stainless, platinum) or other, or no jewelry?

And what stones do you like to wear with your hair? Emeralds, pearls, golden topaz, diamonds, sapphires, garnets, or other, and why?

I prefer white gold, pearls, garnets, emeralds, emeralds with sapphires, and diamonds.

I don't have all this stuff; I just  like it.  I don't know why I like the silver tones better than gold on me, I just do, I guess.

I thought this might be kind of fun! ;D

On myself, I prefer the look of silver or white gold. All the jewelery that I own, I wear all the time and never take it off. I have a silver celtic pendant that hubby got me when we were courting, and then 2 silver celtic rings that I wear on my right hand.

Then on my left hand, I have my engagement ring and wedding band which are both white gold.

My earrings are simple silver hoops (small - nothing special).

I love emeralds. Hubby and I considered gettin an emerald engagement ring, but never did because they tend to be a slightly softer stone, and I was afraid that I'd wreck it cause I never take my rings off!

And I love the classiness of pearls. They remind me of my mum's when I was small and I used to play with hers. ::)

I love emeralds. I rather fancy myself in them, although I have yet to own one!  ;D

Gold is more complementary to my strawberry-blonde hair, but I have always preferred the look of silver and white gold.

I adore pearls (my mom gave me a set of them for my graduation gift).  The beautiful cream toned or *breathless* black pearl sets off a great color combo with my skin and hair.  Diamons are a girls best friend when the cut and color are right *grins*  But I'd prefer an emerald or pearl for my engagement ring (when that time comes.. *grins*)

As for metal choices, it really all depends on what I'm wearing.  If it's beige, green, or brown, I prefer copper accessories.

If it's black, red (wooohooo!), pink or blue, I think the white gold or *ear to ear grin* platinum choices are fab!  

No no, there's no way to tell I'm absolutely crazy about jewelry and accessories...   :D  :D

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who likes the lighter colored metals and pearls.

Also, copper is very pretty, too.  And I like the colored stones, too.

I sometimes think I like white gold/silver becaise my skin color is so white.  Just a thought... ???

That's interesting! I've heard that before too. I'm really white as well and I don't think yellow gold is flattering to my skin tone at all. That's just me though. Yellow gold is VERY flattering on my mum (She has kinda golden coloured hair and she tans very dark so that's probably why.)  

I've never worn copper before. I didn't know their was such a thing! Doesn't it turn your skin green?  ???

I once had (well, actually still have) a copper cuff bracelet that I loved to wear, it was my mother's that she wore when she was younger.  Yes, if worn long enough, it did leave green marks on my skin, but not that much of a problem if kept polished.  As far as jewelry goes, I love the different colored stones, not necessarily precious gems, but the beautiful earthy colored ones like turquoise and tiger's eye (both stunning colors on red heads!)  When I used to color my hair red, I found that I was more anxious to accessorize and see what would stand out against my hair, more so than now with my natural brunette color.  Oh!  How could I forget my absolute favorite....amber!  I absolutely love amber jewelry, I have a beautiful matching necklace/earring/bracelet & ring set, gosh I haven't worn them in a while.  My grandmother bought them for me when she was in Poland, so they are very special.  Well, I know what I'm doing when I go home today, my husband will be wondering why I'm trying on all my old jewelry! How easily I can get side-tracked :P!

I think if I had the money to buy jewelry and was a jewelry-wearing person that I'd fancy copper.

By the way, you can lacquer the part that touches the skin so it doesn't turn green.
