Title: Jessicurl ingredients ok for long hair? Post by strawberryfine on Oct 11th, 2004 at 3:19am
Hi All,
I have a product question for all of you astute in the ingredient department. ??? Has anyone seen any ingredients in the Jessicurl products that would make it not good to use regularly on hair that is trying to get long? It looked okay to me but I wanted some more opinions. If I scrunch my hair with products, I can wear it for 3-4 days or longer with barely touching it. If I just let it airdry with no product and no scrunching, it looks really bad in a few hours-flat and like it needs shampooing. Any input from any longhaired jessicurl users would be really appreciated! TIA!!! ::) ??? ::) ;D |

No experience with Jessicurl here. Do you have the list of ingredients (or a link to them?).
I have heard of other curly girls using the product, but I don't remember how long their hair might have been. |

Thanks Bikerbraid!
Here is a link to the Jessicurl website-if this doesn't take you straight to the products page, just click on Products and it will give you an ingredient list for each product. http://www.jessicurl.com/ I've noticed that a lot of their products have similar ingredient lists and I don't see anything that looks problematic except maybe magnesium stearate. Not sure about that one. Just wanted a second opinion (or more) before I commit to having this stuff on my hair all the time. I am a little concerned about the effect of styling products that stay in the hair all of the time over long term use. I hope that made sense! TIA! :) |

Thanks for the web link - I'll take a look as soon as I can.
As for having product on your hair all the time. That is a reasonable concern. Regular clarifying with vinegar rinses and moisurizing would certainly be in order. |
