Hi y'all -

Finally, finally, some server space and a new digital camera. I hope you like the pics!

This first one was taken on July 3, when I had my surprise birthday party. The color is pretty true.

This one was taken 2 days ago (28 Aug). I look a bit rough as it was 7am - my hair is still a bit damp. Be kind!

I just took my hair down from this hairstyle, the only one I can do with sticks. In retrospect I don't think it really flatters my face to wear my hair like this. It might look better when it's a bit longer. My boyfriend thought I looked like Darth Vader again.

Beautiful, absolutly beautiful. Your hair colour is awsome, it's not blonde, but not brunettey. I was just trying to do that style earlier, but I cant really put it up too well because I cant really control my hair in this heat.

Kate! You are stunning ;D ;D ;D and your bun shows off the much-coveted thickness of your hair. Your hair is going to look soooo gorgeous as it gets longer.. and longer... and longer... ;D ;D ;D

Great picture. That is a wonderful style to use when you want your hair down, but need a bit more control, or can't stand your hair in your face.

That's a nice style! You're lucky your hair is thick enough to do that; even with my waist-length hair I'm not able to make a sufficient half-do bun.

You look kinda like my aunt, btw...

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone! I think that style will suit me more as my hair gets longer and I lose the Darth Vader-shaped head. ::)

Does anyone have a suggestion for other hairstick styles I can do with my still fairly short hair?
