Post by Aphrodite on Aug 13th, 2004 at 8:45am
Crikey - has anyone else visited the Stressless tresses website??? That lady has seriously gorgeous hair! I think her name is Karen Marie... I wonder what her secret is - I've always dreamed of having hair like that! (never will but it doesn't hurt to dream does it!?!) How has she managed to get it that perfect???  :o :)

What amazing hair! 60"!!
The renaissance festival shot is really cool - my bf could carry off the Henry VIII look and I quite fancy myself as Anne Boleyn (head attached however).

Yes I have seen Karen Marie's site and she is gorgeous, ain't she  ;D ? That's the site I was talking about earlier, about the wringing. She's got a nice links page somewhere in there, and Longlocks is on it! Also there's a link I really liked, to a handmade satin pillowcase site. They cost maybe 8 bucks and they're custom made to any color/trim you want... I'm soo getting one.

Omigosh, her hair is gorgeous! She's sure been doing something right, whatever it is. Her site also has a quite impressive list of links to other hair-related sites, through which I've found a lot of good ideas and recipes.

Whoops, the comments I made about the satin pillowcase link was from another site, not Stressless Tresses. The satin pillowcase lady is here:

http://www.tlc-pads.com/services.htm
She makes satin pillowcases, satin scrunchies, and sells turbo towels.

I can vouch for LisaJaney who makes the pillowcases.  She is a delightful lady that does an excellent job and is very consciencous.

Hi Bikerbraid,

The satin that LisaJaney uses... is it the same as "bridal satin"? I hear so much good hype about bridal satin but am not very familiar with it.

I'm not sure if it is bridal satin or not, but I know she uses good quality fabrics.  I'm sure you could email her via her web page and ask.

Here's a link to her site: http://www.wuvie.net/STRESSLESS_tresses.htm

As far as personal sites go, it's probably the most extensive I've ever seen.
