Awesome hair, Gollan ;D Is a bee-butt all that complicated? It looks really neat, and I was wondering about its difference from a regular bun. Where can I find instructions?

Anne-Marie, thanks. I really like the Lapis Lazuli hairsticks. They are particularly photogenic.

Anais Satin, in wrapping a regular bun you wrap the coils around each other and end up with a round, flat disc of hair. This has to be secured either with pins or, as I am doing in the pictures, hairsticks. In wrapping the bee-butt bun you start the same as a regular bun but wrap each coil *under* the previous coil (closer to the head). This give it the 'bee-butt' shape. The bee-butt bun can be secured with just a hairtie around the base (to protect the bun while I'm applying the hairtie, I put the hairtie around my wrist, cup my hand over the bun, then slide the elastic over my fingers to the base of the bun).
