Title: What do I do?
Post by candylipsgurl on Jun 20th, 2004 at 3:45am
My hair goes from really wavy small waves at the root to big wavy almost straight waves at the end, I have thick hair and it is damaged on the ends. What are some things I can do to keep it manageable?

Keeping the damaged ends moisturized should help.  You might find using a light leave-in conditioner to be useful.  Jojoba oil on the damaged ends might also help.

Maybe some of our curly/wavy haired experts can add in some more suggestions.

.Hi!

I'm a wavy, and I can definitely understand different types of waves throughout the hair. Do you blow dry or color your hair? This kind of damage makes the hair straw like and straighter. Maybe this is why your ends are like this?

Like Bikerbraid suggested, keep your ends moisturized with leave-in and oil. You can do a deep conditioning treatment when you can, and snip off the damaged ends gradually till they're all gone  ;)
