Title: Pantene Prov? Post by Dollpartz2008 on Feb 19th, 2004 at 2:15am
Is it true that Pantene Leaves a layer of film on your hair? Cuz i wanna try the Pantene Full and Thick, but i dunno if its gunna mess up my hair. Can someone recommend a shampoo and conditioner that will make my hair thicker and soft without leaving my hair greasy and nasty? Plz. Email me at Dollpartz2008@hotmail.com.

Hi and welcome!
I have been a Pantene user for a number of years. This product does contain silicone products that can build up on your hair. Some types of hair seem to be able to handle the -cones better than others. I have found I can use them sparingly as long as I use a clarifying shampoo and/or vinegar rinse to clear the buildup off my hair. It is worth trying to see how your hair likes the product, it just might be the exact product you need! |

Even though my hair doesnīt mind silicones,I sometimes use the John Frieda or Aussie conditioners after swimming-I definitely have to stay away from Pantene.I did use it a few times (couldnīt resist those wonderful commercials ;) ) ,it left my hair a dry & frizzy &sticky mess. But maybe this is just because my hair is fine and straight,Pantene might work better for other hair-types.

Does the Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner work really well on thin hair? Cuz my hair is really frizzy and thin and i want to be smooth and thick. Is the Conditioner really creamy and does it make ur hair really smooth?

I like the Aussie Mega shampoo for a clarifying shampoo. It does not over dry my hair. The 3 Minute Miracle conditioner is really nice too. I can't use the 3MM everytime or it gets too heavy on my hair, but using it occasionally is great. My hair is very thin and prone to tangles, the Aussie 3MM helps tame my hair.

I love 3mm, i practically use it, as if it were gel. When i wear my hair curly, I put a small amount all over my hair, llet it air dry then i'm ready to go. Its great, i go through about 2-3 bottles a month.
