Title: Sunday evening pic Post by E. on Dec 15th, 2003 at 7:26pm
Hi there,
the newest pic from yesterday showing my hair still a little damp. I hate the color, it is too dark but how should I remove indigo and henna :-[ It looks like I seriously need a trim- my hair is healthy and I have not a single split end, but the last two inches are incredible thin- the last layer growing out. What do you mean? |

Wow,that sure is pretty! :o :o :o And which ends do you describe as *thin*? I think your hair really has a lot of volume up to the ends, and if you donīt have any splits,do you really need to trim? Or how about a micro-trim,taking off only a tiny bit-thatīs what I do when I feel itīs time for a trim but donīt want to sacrifice any length ;D

Thanks ;) Maybe that is a good idea- I had no growth the last two month and absolutely donīt want to trim but my mum would love to cut :o She thinks without the last layer my hair would look better. I am sure she is right but I thought I could trim when hair is 5 inches longer ;D |

E., your hair is just gorgeous! I love dark hair! For me, henna usually fades (I used Lush's Caca Brun henna to darken my hair) and it should go back to the color it was before hennaeing.
I'd suggest a micro trim like Anne-Marie said. I don't have any splits either but feel I need a trim... hey, do you want to join me in trimming on December 19th? It's the Morrocco Method date for trimming for length, and neither of us have gotten much growth in the past couple of months, so maybe it'll help our hair grow ;) This time, I am going to try trimming myself, as I don't trust anyone with the scissors! |

Yes,trimming yourself is a good idea!(That is,if you donīt have a trustworthy hairdresser ;D ) Iīve done it for several years now,and itīs really quite easy if you trim only a little bit each time.(In my opinion thatīs the key for successfully trimming your own hair).I like my ends cut straight and blunt, and Iīm quite satisfied with my results.

Why not- tomorrow is measuring day and I could start new after cutting on December 19th. Iīll think about it! |
