This link shows how Rapunzels can reduce (temporarily) the length of their hair to keep it out of the way or put it all the way up.

Had I known this technique years ago, I might not have cut my hair!

That is a great web site :D! I only wish I had someone to help me do my hair. I don't know if I can do many by myself. I always run into the problem when its' done I check the back and I usually have to do it over. Then my arms get too tired after 2 or 3 tries. Know what I mean? Maybe I'll try some this week end.

I don't have anyone to help me with my hairstyles (hubby is braid-challenged). I taught myself how to do the braids and updos, and also experienced the tired arms. But with practice I am sure you can learn. Good luck!

Robin, for some reason the site doesn't work! The text shows up but not the pictures! Oh well ... what I'm doing is making a hair folder ;D including all my favorite styles and drawing myself pictures so I can have loads of variety!

Are you using Netscape? I know others have had difficulty with the site when using Netscape. :P I just checked it and it worked for me, but I am using IE.

Keeping a folder of your ideas is great. If you are planning on growing your hair significantly longer than your current length, you will find that certain styles will work for a while, then become unmanageable. Having lots of ideas to work with will minimize your frustration when your "favorite" style quits working!

I am using IE! Hmm I don't know why it doesn't show up, well let me read the text and see what I can make of it!
